Dr Vineeth Balachandran

Since qualifying in 2003 from RG University, India, his interest in cosmetic and implant dentistry has led him to attend numerous courses in the UK and abroad to keep up with the latest technology in the field of dentistry and implantology. In 2013 he completed Diploma in Implant Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh. Vineeth is an Invisalign Platinum provider and treat simple to complex cases routinely. He is trained in the use of LASER in dentistry and uses Waterlase LASER where indicated. He was a Vocational Trainer for NHS Education for Scotland up to 2016, involved in training new BDS graduates in General Dental Practice.
Vineeth has a friendly and caring manner and ensures that his patients are not apprehensive of their next visit. In him, you will find a dentist who is compassionate towards his patients and highly committed to his work.
When not in the practice, Vineeth likes to spend time with his children. He plays badminton, tennis and enjoys golf in his free time as well. While Vineeth practices clinical dentistry at Seven Hills Dental practice in Edinburgh, he supervises clinical dentistry at Kirkliston Surgery.
Dr Nikos Theodosiou

With 18 years of clinical experience, Nikos is a dedicated dentist with a genuine passion for delivering exceptional dental care. After running his own private practice in Greece, he arrived in Scotland in 2012, initially working in the Highlands and then joining Kirkliston Dental Practice in 2026.
He holds a Doctor of Dental Science degree and has further enhanced his skills by obtaining a Diploma in Restorative Dentistry from the University of Edinburgh.
Throughout his career, he has developed expertise in a range of treatments including composite bonding, Invisalign and full mouth rehabilitation guiding patients on their journey to a healthier, more confident smile.
Nikos always takes the time to understand each patient’s needs and create a treatment plan tailored to their goals..
Dr Alison Berwick
BDS – Dental Associate
Dr Berwick has worked at Kirkliston Dental Surgery for over ten years. Over that time, she has gained a valued reputation for being considerate and patient focussed, and is well liked by her patients. Alison has undertaken several courses in restorative and cosmetic dentistry over the years and is extremely competent in treating complex cases.
Dr Mohamed Safieldeen
BDS – GDC No. : 326582
Dr. Safieldeen graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery and has gained valuable experience in general dentistry across different clinical settings. He is passionate about restorative dentistry and has a particular interest in endodontics (root canal treatment), focusing on saving teeth and restoring function and comfort.
Dr. Safieldeen is known for his calm and approachable manner, taking time to explain treatment options in simple, clear language so patients feel confident and at ease. He is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care and helping patients achieve healthy, natural-looking smiles.
When he isn’t at work, you can usually find him on the padel court or at the gym.

Dr. Sherif Saleh

DR. Saleh graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery and have a strong passion for Cosmetic and prosthodontic dentistry. He is dedicated to providing high-quality, personalised dental care, creating tailored treatment plans that restore both the function and aesthetics of his patients’ smiles.
Dr Saleh believes in building a trusting rapport with every patient, ensuring they feel comfortable and confident, and leave happy with both their results and their experience at the practice.
Outside of dentistry, you will often find him exploring new places, travelling, or enjoying time with friends and family..

Registered Dental Technician
Alex is a longstanding member of Dental Logic, with over 30 years of experience in various aspects of his job. He is very dedicated to his work, and is a very loyal teammate to Graeme. His main roles are creating Acrylic Dentures, and CAD/CAM development.
Robert Fordham
Trainee Dental Technician
Robert joined the practice in 2025 and is currently doing his training towards Clinical Dental Technician registration
